Two awards for tools designed by stotz-design.com
stotz-design.com has stood for excellent tool design for decades. Our latest product development has also been very well received: We have convinced two renowned juries with our tool system. Yes!
Well thought-out tool design
With the new LOCK-IT system from our customer STORCH, painters can effortlessly paint high walls and ceilings – without a ladder or scaffolding. We have optimized the system consisting of extension pole and roller bracket functionally, aesthetically and sustainably: The intelligent design provides ergonomic benefits, while the low use of materials ensures sustainability. The robust, durable bayonet-style locking mechanism fixes the pole securely and precisely in the blink of an eye. The design makes the functionalities intuitively recognizable and at the same time makes a strong statement for the brand.
Outstanding product development
stotz-design.com receives the GOOD-DESIGN®-Award 2023 and the German Design Award 2024 for the new LOCK-IT system – two internationally renowned prizes for outstanding design.
„Especially when it comes to further developments, the requirements of the circular economy are a top priority for us. This is because tools are often already highly functional, but there is often much more to be done in terms of ergonomics and sustainability,“ emphasizes Managing Director and qualified industrial designer Oliver Stotz. „Lower resource consumption, reduced use of materials, recyclable materials – these are the parameters we use to ensure more resource-efficient products.“
